very slow duplication of disc

i'm having a major problem duplicating with microstudio. I have the plextor 40-12-40u burner and am plugged into a usb2 port. it takes about 45min-1hr to dup and i need some ideas on my problem. at this rate i'll never be able to dup all my discs. thanx --carljohn
