Applause!!! for not doing anything else on you show machine. I am on the fence about this. I feel like if it ain't broke, don't fix it. On the other hand, when I do an upgrade, I also update Windows at the same time.

Usually if I am taking the machine out of service I go ahead and un-install Hoster, re-install Windows, clean out all the unnecessary services, turn off every option that is humanly possible, update Windows, and re-install Hoster. Other than that, I just leave well enough alone while it is in service.

If you feel comfortable making these kind of changes to your system, I will PM you the procedure I go through. I won't post it in the open forum for fear of someone who doesn't know what they are getting in to, messing up their machine and blaming it on me
