I think i'll just uninstall from the old computer and try to reinstall 4.08 to the new and if mtu doesnt give me the update from my present 4.03 so I can get the 4.08 at no charge then I'll just have to pay for a fresh download of 4.08 to get going. I went out and bought the new computer 2 ghz proc. and 3 gig ram with all the specs met that hoster requires of a vista computer. I have spent hours but i think uninstalling is best at this point. How do I do it?

which hoster lite did you buy, from what i read you can install the hoster lite into just 1 comp.if you bought the duo, thats the one that you can install into 2 comp.if i'm not mistaken you can just ignore the error 1706 and install the upgrade, you must be on line to uninstall, that way mtu can see it, you have to have a prior version of hoster lite in order to upgrade, i think you can go to add/ removed program to uninstall ..then you can re-install it back to your new comp, then upgrade..or on your old comp, i think you can go to download site and from there just click on removed instead of upgrade ..you must be on line if youre going that route..
