That's not to say a faster computer couldn't take this in stride. If you do not have any singers with long lists of songs in the database you won't notice this refresh either.

I have the same problem with the singers db. Madjim came up with a work around that worked ok.

Hi laddie ddouglass

My singers list is getting larger and larger hope they fix the delete problem, where if you sort and delete a selection the wrong song will be deleted.

Also giving us the ability to Save by Venue will help keep the singers list more organized and also helps to minimize the amount of information being loaded for that Venue as oppose to what we have now where everything is loaded which uses up more resources.
