Music skips when singers window minimized
I'm having trouble when I minimize the search or singers window (mostly the singers window) the music skips. It dosen't happen all the time, but most of the time.
Singers window also hangs up for a few seconds when I switch singers or scroll down the song list within the singers window. Also somtimes, when I select the add track button, nothing happens. I have to wait till singer is finished to add a track (mostly the singers window). I do not have any other programs running. I'm running XP Pro on a former Vista Machine and have plenty of memory. All updates are current. Hoster 4.06. Thanks, Jim |

He means the singer's database window.
There is a refresh problem with the Singer's Database that will be corrected in the next release which should be very soon. The best way to get it out of the way currently is to slide it down to where all you see is the very top edge (so you can pull it back up) when you are not using it rather than minimize. Which version of Hoster are you using? |
Thanks Dale. I didn't think I had a computer problem. Everything else is working great.
I'm running 4.06 on XP. Jim |
That's not to say a faster computer couldn't take this in stride. If you do not have any singers with long lists of songs in the database you won't notice this refresh either.

I have the same problem with the singers db. Madjim came up with a work around that worked ok.

Hi laddie ddouglass
My singers list is getting larger and larger hope they fix the delete problem, where if you sort and delete a selection the wrong song will be deleted. Also giving us the ability to Save by Venue will help keep the singers list more organized and also helps to minimize the amount of information being loaded for that Venue as oppose to what we have now where everything is loaded which uses up more resources. Thanks Joe.... |
