Check to see that the type buttons are selected at the top ie: title, artist they should be green.

Green Buttons

If I click on them they turn green, the Book ID,and the Brand tell me I have to import songs before anything can appear. The disc does go to track 1. I don't have an artist. I can toggle between search and singer. Search does nothing. Singer brings up another window. It can toggle between song and singer. that window does nothing either. tried typing singer on box for singer. I have over 7 thousand songs but it can't find them.

Your in the wrong function. That is the Singers Database which you obviously would not have put anything in since you just installed it.
On the main screen click on Search not Singer.

butchfer, please read the manual. Your questions are answered there.

We are TRULY sorry for the registration problem you experienced, and Bryan working with you identified it as a web script bug. Now that you are running, do what most customers do... read the manual so you understand the basic functions of each feature.

Thank you.

Also, please read my very serious post above. We will be discontinuing support for Vista soon after Windows 7 is released. Microsoft made a very bad mistake with Vista. It is NOT designed to run Video or Audio. Every audio and video program running on Vista drops audio and has problems. It is Vista. It is NOT Hoster, and we're tired and wore out trying to beat this dead horse across the finish line. We're gonna leave it in the ditch and move on.

Read my post above....

can't c the forrest 4 the trees

I turned off the UAC. still didn't work. Here was my problem. My XP machine automatically seen my song data base, I assumed my Vista machine did. But it didn't. I rebuilt the song data base and it works. By-the-way I did read the manual and if I missed this instruction I apologize but I don't remember reading it. Anyway All is well again. While I'm here hope yawl have a Merry Christmas thanks again for the help and hope this helps someone with this problem. Butch
