Folks, there is some great feedback here. I'm scheduling a Hoster 4.06 version today to try and knock out some of these problems.

For those reporting "out of sync lyrics", please give us as much as you can about your computer. It is starting to appear that some hardware is giving Hoster a problem. If we can identify it, we can fix it.

Any more info would be helpful

With the variety of computers (hardware, operating systems, etc.), it would be helpful if you could give a snapshot of your environment here.
  • Operating System, including service packs
  • Processor (Intel/AMD, speed, dual, etc)
  • RAM Memory
  • Video card
  • Audio card
  • CD/DVD Drive type (make & model)
Also, if one particular type of file is giving you fits, let MTU know this as well. For example, CDCDG files work fine, but HDMP3G and HDZIP files fail. All of this information will help guide MTU in the determination of the problem(s).

Ricky,
Are your drives in a Raid showing as one drive or are they separate as two drives?
If separate how much free space do you have free on the C:\ drive?

Last night Hoster 4.05 shut down 4 or 5 times and lost all the new singers, but maintained a list of previous songs. it seemed to happen when editing a singers name maybe had something to do with double clicking the mouse. seem the editing a singers name is much different than other versions of hoster. I would also like the disc number searh field to go blank after you select the song. seems it used to but not now.

To edit a singer's name in the playlist right click on it. This will highlight is so you can re-enter.

Ok. Just wondering as Vista takes a lot of space on a hard drive and if there isn't enough free space left then this can cause problems.
They are working on 4.06 this week.
