Thanks Guys. But that is exactly what I did. One of my employees just got a new HP Laptop and it has the same problem. In Vista when you set it to no sounds, you still have to uncheck a box on the same page for it not to play the startup jingle regardless if you set it to no sounds.
I have done over 30 laptops for my employess with XP and no prblems. However the Vista OS is such a pain. Oh Yeah, Beavis, Yes I updated everything before I installed anything. Thanks www.starsoundsproductions.com
