I'm going to stick with XP. I still think 98 2nd edition was about the best one

Keep fingers crossed

Yah, I agree... Just need MTU to reset my number so i can "transmit" the computer info to MTU... I think I have it figured out and it was rather easy... Spoke to a fella at Best Buy, (Where I bought it from) and the Geek Squad came through... I hope it works.. But my Ots works so I think Hoster will also... I will download and test and inform everyone what I find... (ie. how to down load to vista OS) I can't wait...

I used discs on my gig the other night... oh boy, that is not fun!

Going to try Vista next week

I need my new machine this week so I am going to run hoster on Windows XP for this weekend. Vista has an uninstall feature though so I am going to install it on Monday and see how it go's. If I encounter problems I will just perform the Vista Uninstall.

I will let everyone know how it goes. My new machine has a version of Windows XP that I just bought that included a Vista upgrade coupon.

Please keep us all posted with your Vista results.

Hoster versions older than 3.314 seem to work, but 3.314 has some changes that would not work under Vista. Hoster 3.315 will support Vista, and should be released by the 15th.

Will 3.315 be for Vista and 3.314 for xp; Or will 3.315 be the one and only new version that works on all systems?

Correct. Version 3.315 released on Friday, February 16, 2007. It IS the current shipping version for Windows 2000, XP, Vista.

I'm closing this thread as the problem is solved.
