List of songs, in order of installation

I know you can do a DiscID list but not sure you can do one by BookID. You may have to take song.mdb file into Access and sort there to print in the order you want.

I'm having trouble figuring out why a list of this type would be useful. Ernie, why would I need a list like this?

I don't think hedjbren's question is out of line at all. It could be that Ernie's reasoning might be such that we'll all be clamoring to have it added as a new feature, but then again maybe his reasoning is such that it would only benefit him, in which case MTU probably wouldn't spend the time or money for it especially when it can easily be done outside Hoster as Dale pointed out.

I for one would be interested in knowing his reasoning.

Ernie will a list by DiskID work as well? You can already do that. It doesn't list each individual song but does list the discs by Brand Name and DiscID, so you can keep from buying duplicates by referring to it.

No, that won't work for me. I need software that gives me all the information on a disc, since there are so many duplicate songs. I need to be able to cross reference. I'm going to setup an Access list. I do appreciate the info though.

Set up your Access database to link to the table in songs.mdb then any changes made to Hoster's list will be directly reflected in your set-up.

The biggest problem is going to be trying to sort by the BookID. Since there are no leading zeros a number sort won't work correctly.
