Until we can re-create the crash, we probably can't solve the problem. We will take a look at what is reported here and see if we see anything wrong in the code.

I have made this Thread "sticky" so it remains visible at the top of the Threads in this Forum. I'll change the Thread title to "ask" for more feedback... either having or not having the problem. Obviously we are looking for those who HAVE the problem. It may be Windows OS version dependent.

Post as much as you can about what is happening to help us diagnose the problem.

What version of Windows are you running? Windows 2000 or XP?

What Service Release version has your Windows been upgraded to? 2000 SR4? XP Home/Pro SR2?

What type of file you are playing when adding a CDG track from a Singers's disc will crash Hoster? Does it matter?

What version of Direct-X is installed (check it in Control Panel - System dialog?

My system is an MTU Rackmount system that I purchased from MTU in January. If this is a system problem then I need to discuss this with someone since I purchased this system from MTU.

It is running Window XP Home SR2
I am playing the KMA file from my rotation list.
It doesn't seem to matter what type of CDG I try to load from. It happens with custom made discs as well as purchased discs.

I will post more info as it becomes avaiable.
