I ran 2.219 on a system that was FAR under minimum specs (Compaq 1700us, 733mhz pentium, 256 mb ram, 40gm hdd) without a single drop out ... the only thing I have to ask is, how much junk is running in the background taking up system resources?
The system I was using was less than 1/3rd of what you describe, and I had not a single problem ... 95% of the posts I seem to see about different issues are "user induced" ... Last edited by DJYale; February 27th, 2005 at 03:57 AM.

I'm also curious as to how you got 20,000 KMA files on to that hard drive?
2,000 KMA files imported at 128 is roughly 10 GB, so 20,000 would be roughly 100 GB. Now, to get 100gb on a laptop with a 60gb drive is quite a feat....
