Re: playing .wma file, but not showing in playlist.

Hey beavis,
It would be interesting to know. I have a feeling that it is something on their end locking the drive, so no other program will use it, but we will find out.

Re: playing .wma file, but not showing in playlist.

This is one reason why Songs Titles will not appear in the Playlist.

If there are more than 62 Characters in the name of a song, the song may be added to the Playlist and Played, but you will not see it in the Playlist.

Same with Mp3 and Mp+G Trks.

You will not see this with KMA Trks because there is a Character limitation during Import and Kma Tracks don't have, both, Artist and SongTitle info combined as viewed in the "Song Name" column as, usually, with WMA, Mp3, and Mp3+G Tracks.

Not sure if it is worth it to them to fix this or not. It might not beable to be fixed, just depends on how their software talks to and controls the drive.

Re: playing .wma file, but not showing in playlist.

nreel, The most recent occurance of this was a little different than the first. The first time it happened, The song was playing but was not showing anywhere on the playlist. I couldn't do anything until the song was done. The second and third time this happened, the songs remained in the playlist but show as "played" while still playing and I could do nothing to stop the song.

Re: playing .wma file, but not showing in playlist.

Ok I figured out what was going on with my singer name list. It works fine when in Auto mode, but does not work at all in manual mode. In manual mode, it shows the first 3 songs for the shows playlist, and doesn't do anything after that...it won't refresh. So I just have to leave it in auto mode if I want to use the SNL.
