Re: Hoster prints songbook incorrectly

See if you can take a screen shot of the edit dialog after listing 1374 book Id.
Then I might be able to see the problem.

Re: Hoster prints songbook incorrectly

The screenshot is attached. I just noticed there is a 01 before all the songs Alan I think I may know the problem but don't know how to fix it. Several years ago I converted all my scdg's and imported them to Hoster and maybe this is the problem, but I don't know how to fix it.screenshot.bmp

Re: Hoster prints songbook incorrectly

Looking at that screen shot it appears you did import them as one long file name under Title.

Since looking at it further I notice the "F;" I mentioned before actually stands for featuring then the other Artist, no big deal with that.

Basically the only way to really correct them is to re import them all setting the define field order to ignore that first number and set the other fields with the correct spaces between hyphens then use ";" for last separator before the CB5147.

If you imported them as KMA then you need to have a copy of the original ripped files to be able to re import, if you don't have them then you can either re rip them with the software you originally used or use Songverter to convert them to either mp3+g or zip format. But even then they wont be in 2nd name first name order so that will limit how they order in the songbook.

There is software out there for naming karaoke files that way but still time consuming, I could show you how it's done with that free Bulk Rename Utility if you decide to go that route.

Re: Hoster prints songbook incorrectly

Thanks Roy. Last night I moved the scdg files to a different folder and now only have the original b4 I imported them. Unfortunately I gave away all my scdg disc. I am sure I can get them back for a while if I really want to redo 24,000 files. I am going to see what the song books look like with out all those files. I will let you know. Once again thanks and it must be me that "sucks" and not Hoster!!!
