Well if the singer's name is in the singers database and in the playlist, shouldn't I just be able to add a song next to their name to that singers database from the playlist?  ?

In The Playlist. I can add a new singer to the singers list. But when I look to see if that song was added the singers list is empty. Sometimes when I restart Hoster I get 1 song to get added and no more. I can add songs to the singers list through the search song database. There has to be something that got changed or I changed so that I can only add the singer and no songs from the playlist. I am packed up for the next show tonight. Tomorrow I'll off load and setup in the house and go through the process again and let you know

hoster (5.09.02) worked well yesterday. but today is would not play any songs. each song loaded in the playlist displayed the red error message.
i have tried restarting hoster/rebooting computer/rescanning files/rebuilding database/reinstalling hoster/deleting old hst files/... i don't know what else to do. i need to fix this out by tonight :o

Are your songs on an external drive ?
If so it sounds like your volume letter has changed. Read how to change it back here: http://www.mtu.com/kb/kb/index.php?a...e&id=4&relid=1
