I solved problem, the ati mobility radeom hd 4650 catalyst control center had to be updated. I did this by going to AMD website and getting latest control center update and installing it. I had to install it twice but one I had that done, it seems to work fine now. Thanks for the help

is14fun, are you using Hoster heavily, professionally with Windows *, or just at home? Have you encountered any other issues with Hoster and 8 or was it just as seamless as using Win7? THANKS!
