Problems playing video files on extended desktop

just an integrated video card..i have a laptop that has an ati card and i get the same problem...updating/upgrading the graphic card didn't do anthing..video files plays w/o a problem on primary monitor in fullscreen view, but not on extended, once its minimized problem goes away

Have you tried stretching the singers display to fit the extended monitor?

tried that too..i can stretched it up to my 3rd monitor and still the same problem, extend it to 2nd monitor, i'll get a glitched, music goes out of sync..play it on primary monitor alone using wmp and vdj program, no problem at all, extend it back to 2nd display and minimizing it. problem goes away...so in my opinion Hoster has nothing to do with it..it's the graphic cards thats is not powerful enough to play music videos, and also when playing music videos, cpu uses too much power, so you might wanna check on that too

Everything works fine on my machine and setup (laptop, singers LCD monitor, and 60" Plasma). I will be setting up in about an hour for tonights show.

I can understand the CPU working overtime especially if the video card's GPU isn't up to the task.

This one has me baffled! Will play with it more.

The videos that you are having problems with (studdering), Did you rip them straight from the DVD or did you use DVD Ripping Software?

If you used DVD Ripping software, what is the Name of the program?

no these are all downloaded from itunes, it's faster i dont have to do any conversion

Try closing Hoster then double click on one of the files and see what the default player might be.

Is it WMP or Apple?

not using any of them..i'm using vdj pro7. which has 2 windows like Hoster, i cant stretch ( split ) wmp all the way to my 3rd screen, videos play fine , no problem at all in wmp..i have a diff. setup on my monitors..2nd display is an extension of my primary monitor and the 3rd monitor is a mirror( cloned )image of the 2nd monitor that way i can split the image, each monitor is connected to a video converter, plugged into individual usb port..
