Upgrade Dates
I got looking at my account. Seems i last updated Monday June 28, 2010 to Hoster 4X. I was kinda thinking about upgrading before my 12 months runs out. But on the bottom it says "Link Expires Thursday 29 July 2010" "29 Downloads remaining" huh? is that the expiration date for that update to Hoster 4 ? Sure tain't 12 months?

I purchased the 12 months worth of update downloads..or so i thought? My 12 months aren't up yet.

Link Expiration is not your upgrade expiration. Link Expiration is always 30 days after purchase. This means you have 30 days after purchase to download , install and register the first time.
So in that case you still have until 27 June 2011 to upgrade for free.

When you order at out store, a script automatically sends you an email with the order, and a link to your "store download" link. Now, the store is on mtu.com, and if we allowed you to download forever, it would "often" shut down Internet access to our sales and store web site.
![]() We CANNOT upgrade store links for everyone and every product they ordered. It would cost $$$$ in time to do this. So, we have http://download.mtu.com/download.htm where you can get the latest downloads. Also, if you go to any product sales page, you will see an "Update" navigation link at the top right of the page (in the nav bar). This will take you to that product's upgrade page; ex. http://www.mtu.com/upgrades/hoster.htm for Hoster and Lite. This keeps the download traffic off our sales/store site, and allows us to provide you with back versions we are still willing to support. ![]() |
