Mp4 videos play fine from the playlist and display properly on the singers display on my windows 7 laptop. Video files do not show on the preview screen or from the edit preview screen.
The only videos that show in the preview screen from my experience are ones played from an instabutton but that is limited to just a few formats not Mp4.

Thanks for saying that these play for you. I really didn't know what Mp4's are. ... why I suggested he read the manual. I'm really only familiar with a few of the long list of video formats that will play in Hoster.
