Computer Lock up

When using Microstudio 2400 (custom assembly), I can import from c: drive, but when I go to write to cd computer locks up, then I have to use reset button to re-boot computer. I have a AMD athlon T-Bird 128 meg ram 800 mhz. Windows 98 SE. I have been able to make duplicate CDG's, so I was wondering If I have a conflict somewhere else?
