Computer Lock up
 

When using Microstudio 2400 (custom assembly), I can import from c: drive, but when I go to write to cd computer locks up, then I have to use reset button to re-boot computer. I have a AMD athlon T-Bird 128 meg ram 800 mhz. Windows 98 SE. I have been able to make duplicate CDG's, so I was wondering If I have a conflict somewhere else?:f :?

What burner are you using?? Have you set your CDR settings, check in box of dma and sync data transfer?

Sounds like a conflict. Are you getting any error message, or just a freeze ?

Just noticed you're using DIRECTX 8.0. Try downloading 8.1 from the Microsoft website. You may also have to upgrade burner from MFG's site to support 8.1.

My Drive is a yamaha 8424E and no I do not get any error messages Computer just freezes I have down loaded directx 8.1 as suggested and also down loaded the latest drivers for 8.1 as well :?
