Unhappy Help!! Errors, Errors, Errors!!

Help!

I am using a Plexwritter 24/10/40 and microstudio 2.314..

I am getting sooo many errors and wasting more discs than I am able to keep, I'm trying to back up my karaoke discs and am having so many problems...any suggestions??

I often get either an error message that says something about bad media, or microstuido just freezes up.

Erin

Things to try

Sorry you are experiencing this. I know it is frustrating.

There are a number of factors that can cause this type of problem. Please go to this web page, scroll down to "How To Make Good Karaoke CDG Discs" and read the points.

Make sure to clean your original discs as best you can. If they are VERY scratched, it might cause Microstudio to lock up, but it shouldn't. I expect the media you are using is the main cause.

Please post back here what you discover.

which CD-R are you using. I have found a few CD_R's that are a waste of money because even for copying data i get bad medium or no disc in tray messages. I have learned to stay away from those brands. I now use either Fuji, Imation or Kypermedia. Precision works but eventually the label side peals on you losing your data that was copied to the disc.
