Question Just purchased KHPRO, vogone, and micro!

Hello all, I don't have the prog yet (comes on monday) but was curious about a couple things.

1) Does this prog support all stand alones and commercial karaoke machines , IE. Pioneer, sony, ect.

2) does the keyrite prog support the use of key changes on commercial players too?

3) whats the recommended writing speed for burning cdg to disc?

I have a Plextor 24/10/40TA and I know this drive will work, I'm just unsure about getting perfect results!

Thanks MTU, I'm sure your product will be awesome!!!!

Wink OK, here's a crack at all your questions...

1. The only problems that have been reported on songs produced with Karaoke Home Producer are on Karaoke players that support Transparency. If that switch is ON, there can be problems. With the switch OFF, the problems go away. If you use absolute black (0,0,0 colors for RGB), some players will have problems and not show the lyrics at all.

2. I have no idea what you are asking here. Keyrite is a stand alone program that will shift the key of a CDG or WAV file and write the new key shifted audio and lyrics (if CDG) to a new file on the hard drive. The new song can be written to a CDG disc with Microstudio. That disc can be played in Karaoke players. If you want to change the key again with a Karaoke players' keychanger, it should work. There might be problems with some key changers. We have seen random problems with Vogone in Player key changers as Vogone makes a monaural vocal reduced file. Keyrite does not.

3. 1x is the absolute safest rate. However, the only way to be sure what you can do above that rate is to make a disc at a higher speed (24x should be possible with a sufficiently fast computer and hard drive system) and play it in all the players you want it to play in.

Keep being unsure about getting PERFECT results. PERFECT is a VERY VERY hard goal to atain. "Excellent results" is a safe expectation to hold.
