Video Hoster 3311 update

Have tried the download link in my account and all I can access is 3310. Is it released yet ? Is the remove silence at the beginning of track feature included in this update along with volume normalization ?

1. You're very observant! I just modified the news page following an internal meeting. If we get some code from our CD/DVD Vendor today, we'll delay to get it tested. If not, we'll release 3.311 late afternoon and add any new upgrades into 3.312. We'll modify the web site to indicate 3.311 is released when it is.

2. We have changed our import so we hope your answer is yes. It turns out there are a number of published CDG discs with tracks where the audio actually extends into the pregap. When we removed this 2 second pregap, the resulting files were often too short on even more files, and Windows Media Player and other files showed a difference that they shouldn't have. Forgive me if my details are not exact.

3. No, normalize/Compress/Limit are not in this version. The code we now use to import from the CD/DVD drives automatically converts to WMA compression so our Comp/Lim could not work. However... we are actively working on a separate batch processor program (target price $9.99) that will allow you to set up Comp/Lim and Normalize, select the folder to process all songs in, and walk away. All files will process using the same parameters. If you don't want to process all files, then move the ones you want (or don't want) to a separate folder. This will allow this function, while not slowing down the importing. We may have a future version where we can put Comp/Lim/Normalize back in, but that is not currently possible. We think the separate batch processor will be superior as it is done while you are not sitting there watching the disc import.

Hi,
I can't find any reference to removing the silence or editing the beginning of tracks in the new 3311 update. Can somebody please clarify if it has been included or not.

Eric what you are asking about has not been included. This was a bug fix release only. No new features.
