Intel Core 2 Duo Laptop For Hoster?

I've been wanting to try the Hoster program using a laptop computer. As luck would have it, my wife has asked for a laptop computer for letters and other small stuff. So if I get her the computer, I also might be able to use it for Karaoke, or at least try it out. I need the folks on this forum to share their expertise by looking at my proposed configuration and providing feedback.

Proposed Configuation:

HP Pavilion dv600t Customized
Windows XP Home
Intel Core 2Duo processor T-5600 1.83 GHz
256 NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400
1.0GB DDR2 SDRAM (2x512MB)
120 GB 5400 RPM SATA HD
DVD/CD-RW Combo drive (this might have to be replace with an external plextor)

Thanks for any input you might have. My main concerns are the audio out and the dual video monitor capability.

Wes
