New Beginner help.

I am a newbie so please be patient with my questions please. I just got a karaoke machine for christmas and want to learn how to take some mp3's that I have and convert them to CD+g's and be able to burn them to play in my Karaoke machine. Can anyone please tell me what kind of programs I can use to do this. I am useing a Toshiba laptop Satellite Pro with a burner to do this. I would also like to know how to tell if my burner will burn these cd's or do I need a dvd burner and can I use regular bland music cd's or do I need blank dvd cd's. Thank everyone in advance for all of their help.

I will attempt to help in part, since I have created some karaoke songs.

To convert your MP3"s to CD+G"s, you must first put them on your hard drive and save them as WAV's in Microstudio. Read the MicroStudio manual for further instructions.

For the lyrics, either download them from the internet or any other source, Use Copy/Paste or type them in KHPro. Read the KHPro manual for further instructions.

If you want to remove the voice from the song, use Vogone. Read the manual for this program.

The program will tell you if your CD is compatible or not. Most of your questions are dealth with in the manuals for each program.

I don't know how big of a drive you have but each song takes a few meg's of space. So you might be limited to a small amount of them. So for any equipment that you might need including the prorgams, I highly recomend MTU hardware and software products for the best in performance and reliability of any other company. Use the blank CD's and burners that they recomend. Have fun, and post back to let us know how you are doing!
