Our thanks to BANDL for this tip in one of his posts (edited below).

"I get all my MIDI files from the Internet (I have bought a few, but most of them are free). This search engine http://www.musicrobot.com that works great. It only looks for MIDI files. Just enter a partial or full song title."

"For my lyrics, use any search enginel Enter the song name followed by lyrics at the end. It usually gets me a lot of hits that are not relevant, but most of the time I get the lyrics. There are also some sites that have a lot of lyrics, however if you are looking for some obscure lyrics (I'm often looking for Spanish) it is better to go the broader search engine route."

MTU is negotiating with one of our clients from 1984 to offer their $160 MIDI Synthesizer program. This will provide a way to convert a MIDI fie into a high quality audio .wav file that Karaoke Home Producer can use. This program is easy to use, and offers unequalled quality and flexibility. It comes with a CDROM with several hundred MBytes of high quality instrument sample file tables. This is part of why their product delivers high quality sound, versus your low cost MIDI cards with very limited sample files stored on ROM. Watch for our announcement.

Our Vogone I works on center-panned, stereo audio master files. We are working on another unique product that we will announce later.
