![]() Installed sofware over the weekend and have been unable to make a file yet due to the lyrics running miles behind the audio track. Has anyone else had this problem and can I get some advice? The PC is a Pentium 3 700, 256 meg SDRAM and very fast 8-5sec HD. It has been suggest by Mr. David Cox that the video card may be the wrong type our set up wrong. It's a cheap AGP S3 trio card. Anyone suggest a good card please and will it solve the problem?
I can't get past the first 4 lines before the 3 minute song has ended. TerryLee |

![]() OK guys sorted the problem of out of sync lyric!!
I had an 8meg Trident S3 card. Obviously not fast enough as I've just fitted a Rage 32 meg card and it's working Grrrrreat. Just a few little nigles I'm sure I'll sort out with practice. Terry Lee |

KHP sweep out of sync
had the same problem. purchased an ATI Expert 2000 video card. Make sure to download latest drivers. Also color settings on p.c. need to be set at hicolor 16bit. might try that first before spending money on video card, but have a hunch it'll be needed also. Hope this helped. George

![]() The ATI card is what we ship with our workstations. S3 video chip based cards have always given us problems, no matter what program we write or how we code it.
![]() One of our beta testers has reported this "slow" problem condition: Don White: "When I run in 16bit or 32bit colour I have no problems in synchronizing the lyrics with the music. However, when I run in 24bit colour, the sweep cannot keep pace with the music. I've tried different font sizes, numbers of lines, screen resolutions, etc. but the result is always the same - 16bit and 32 bit colours work fine, 24bit colour runs slow." Try changing your color resolution before purchasing a new video card. You can change this by clicking the: Start button > Settings > Control Panel > Display, and click the Settings Tab. You will see the Resolution control list box. Make sure it is not set to 24-bit color. |
