No Recognizing files

I downloaded some songs from a news site that are CD+G files, (at least that's what the properties say on each file) but Microstudio won't play them. The graphics are all broken up and there is no sound. Yet I downloaded Karaoke for DirectX and it plays fine on Windows Media (graphics and all). Why won't Microstudio play them?

Please email the file to me, and we can take a look at it.

If you are using Microstudio, it will not play mp3+g files, it only supports .cdg files which are .bin files. The file size of the .cdg file for Microstudio is about 30 to 50 mb, not 1-3 mb.

This is probably your problem.
