Can you edit the time between tracks?

I want to compose a "concert" CD+G. This requires editing the time between tracks to just two or three seconds. Can Micro Studios do that?

I believe the industry standard is 2 seconds between tracks. If you are experiencing more, then it probably is silence within the track itself.

This being the case, you would need to use an audio editing program to cut the excess off before you create the cdg in Karaoke Home Producer.

Microstudio will not do this. I use Goldwave, an excellent audio processor for the money.

I don't believe even if you could extract the audio from a commercial cdg track and alter it, the sweep would be in sync. That's why I mentioned changing the audio track then building the cdg with KHP.

Thanks for the reply. I believe you are right. I have a freeware program called "Audacity" and it is an excellent wave editor. I'll Give it a try

Remember there is time needed to display graphics (Song Title Page) at the beginning of each song also. I don't know if you can omit a title page in KHP or not. Point being that if you want a song to only have a few seconds from the end of one song to the beginning of the next and display graphics too, I'm not sure it will be that easy even in KHP. Especially, if a song has minimal intro time till the sweeping starts.

I hope my point here is not too vague. I had thought about doing something like this myself for pre-programmed professional performances. Haven't yet got into trying it yet but these are the thoughts I had. I don't use graphics for professional performances yet. Might in the future. It could vastly expand my repertoire.

Wallymeister is right... KHP doesn't require an intro Title Page with or without graphics. You can omit it altogether as there is an enable check box for Title Page and Credits Page, only the Lyrics pages are required.

I always make certain there is 2 seconds blank at the beginning and 4 seconds blank at the end of every track I use in KHP and never have a problem.

If the end of a track sounds "stuck" like it's "fluttering", the first thing to check is the blank at the end of the track. 99.9999999% of the time when that happens there isn't enough blank space, and creates a conflict..

Wow, thanks all! I only have the Micro Studio software but now think I will get the KHP software. Sounds like that will solve my problem. I do not host gigs so I do not need the other software available through MTU. I have my own digital key changer, vocal stripper, etc.
