Problems with ver2.605

I can't can't duplicate disc, I can do import and custom assembly
also will not open my keyrite ver 1.2.0.2 .

pls would somebody try to help, I think there are several people out here with the same problem.

It sounds like maybe some of the tracks might be damaged or mediaclog is present. Have you tested for these possibilities??

Jahern is right. It sounds like a damaged disk. Try importing all the Tracks individually in the Import Tracks Tab. If any are bad, they will show ERROR for their status, instead of IMPORTED.

As to Keyrite, did you purchase that code as a separate product or in the KaraokeSuite4 package deal? If not, you must do that before you can run it from Microstudio.

If you have Keyrite, click the Keyrite button in Microstudio, then click the Find Program button and locate where Keyrite is installed. The default install directory is:
C drive, Program Files, Micro Technology Unlimited, Keyrite. Once you find and click OK, its path will appear in the field below. Then click the Run Program button and Keyrite should now run.

I wish it could be that easy , but no,
I can not dulicate any cdg ( error: select a reading device (cdrom), and highliting the drive also does not make it work/ I also can't open my keyrite, But I can do custom assembly
I have been using Microstudio since ver 2.312 and keyrite bought seperately)for nearly 2 years now. It worked great wirh my old plextor drive. So I'm pretty verse on how it works. I have made at least 300 duplicates, many custom assembly, and changed 100's of keys.

It all started when I needed a new computer Now I have the 712a in my new computer I had 2.506 installed on my new computer, but no working karaoke drive, then working with Doug Cox he sent me a new email with my reg# but for version 2.604 cause I could not locate my email for when I bought I bought my last upgrade for 2.506, so I down loaded the 2.504 .but still would not recognize my 712a.
But then that's when Doug told me I would need 2.605... but I some how don't know why I downloaded also the demo for 2.604 the then after the new 2.605 released I downloaded it installed it, but I can't get the demo version removed. (even tried through windows ( says it cand find setup.exe) When I open the demo version up, it also shows my registration number???which I think is odd??
I tought maybe this was causing it not to duplicate.
I unistalled the new version 2.605 and did a down load again but still no fix and the demo is still installed( can't remove it)

***Then I wondered should I go back and load 2.312, then upgrade to 2.604, then upgrade to 2.605 ???

But then I would still have the problem with having the demo installed too.

oh I also removed Roxio EZ cd creator 6 and that didn't help either

Lord it is hard trying to explain this in writing I just wish I could talk to someone.

I sure hope someone can help???

Well after typing all this in on my last reply I found where Bryan had answered someone else's post where he posted the error mesg file, I now can do the duplication. with the little bug trick...
But I still can't remove the demo version and can't open my keyrite maybe someone can help on these two problems now..... Thanks
