V2.2 requires 4MB RAM, a black & white VGA (640x480) display, MicroSound AT-DSP56 Revision A to J board, and Windows 3.1x or Windows for Workgroups.

V2.3 requires 4MB RAM, a black & white VGA display, MicroSound AT-DSP56 Revision-H or J board, and Windows 3.1x.

V2.4 requires 8MB RAM, a color SVGA (800x600) display, MicroSound AT-DSP56 Revision-J board, and Windows 3.1x.

If the whole screen doesn't appear when MicroEditor runs, configure Windows to use the SVGA 800x600 resolution Video driver. The waveform will not draw without at least 8MB RAM in the computer.

V2.5 requires 8MB RAM, a color SVGA display, MicroSound AT-DSP56 Revision-J board, and Windows 3.1x. V2.5 was the last release before porting to run with a Windows 95 Virtual Device Driver (VXD).

V2.6 requires 8MB RAM, a 256 color SVGA resolution display, MicroSound AT-DSP56 Revision-J board, and runs in Windows 3.1x or 95.

V2.7 software requires a 256 color SVGA resolution display, can run with either the Microsound AT-DSP56 Revision-J board or the Krystal DSP Engine, and runs in Windows 3.1x or 95. The 2.7 manual describes this release. V2.7 is the last for Microeditor that runs under Windows 3.11.

Ignore this if installing to run with a Krystal DSP Engine. FOLLOW THESE STEPS to install 2.7 to run with a MicroSound AT-DSP56 Rev-J board. If you don't you will see the error message Unable to access MicroSound device and MicroEditor will terminate.
