Lightbulb Something to be aware of

Ok, don't loose any sleep over this, but I found a way to crash the new 2.209 version of Hoster. I was in the process of importing some tunes into Windows Media player, had an import going on, reduced the window (for WMP) and opened Hoster. When Hoster opens, you get a "can not find the jeterr35.hlp file" error. It asks if you want to locate the file yourself, but then locks up. I shut dow WMP and removed the disc I was importing and tried to restart Hoster, and everything worked perfectly again. I put the disc I was importing into my plextor (non-CDG) and opened Hoster again with the same effect, same error message. I know this problem will effect hardly anyone, but if you run into this problem, that is the work around. (at least on my system). I was able to create the same results over and over, and solve it reliably the same way every time. Just thought I'd toss that one out there. Oh yeah, the new Hoster Rocks! Thanks for the new seach engine. . .well done.

jeterr35.hlp

That’s an old Access problem. Jeterr35.exe has two help files, Jeterr35.hlp and a related help file, Jetdef35.hlp, were not included with either Visual C++ 5.0 or the DAO SDK Version 3.5.

I don’t know which version of Access MTU is using for its Hoster database. That error, I believe, is not part of Access 2002.

Regards,

Jon

OK, so how do you remedy this problem, because my shuttle started giving me this message again last night, cause my Hoster 2.209 to crash, and not while using WMP, but when I tried to re-import a CDG. Any thoughts? I did finally at one time get it to clear themessage and allow me to re-import the song, but only after in crashed the program about three consecutive times. This is not good.
