Reimporting songs

Just Upgraded to 2.124 and was wondering why I can no longer reimport songs. I get an error message that says Book ID already in use select another. But I want to reimport the song to the same book ID as before to correct a spelling error in the title. It seems that the only way I can do this is to delete the entire CD from the hard drive and rebuild the songs database first. This seems very inconvienent and would like to be able to do it as before where it would just overwrite the existing track. Is this a problem with the new version of hoster or am I doing something wrong.
