Microstudio Karaoke Burners

I have a CD Burner, Plextor PXW4824TU which will burn a whole karaoke CD (for backup). However, when I installed the Microstudio program so I'd have the option of just copying select tracks, Microstudio would not recognize the CD burner as a Karaoke-capable burner. It is definitely a Karaoke burner. Is there some way that Microstudio program writers can write this Burner (Plextor PXW4824TU) into the Microstudio program so that it is recognized by Microstudio????
