Talking Yes!

MTU's Hoster will allow you to do the storing audio and CDG's to hard disc, as well as provide the software to run a karaoke show from your computer. As far as writing CDG's to disc, the Micro studio program they offer does a wonderful job of this. If you have any other questions, just post them in here, and you find a friendly, eager community of folks that will help you out. Good Luck.

Microstudio would also let you import your cdg's into your hard drive but in a wave format.
Keep in mind that each songs would take from 40-50 megs so you better have a BIG hard drive or little to import!

In your copy area it shows a place to put it, C: SONGFILE etc, pick another spot and transfer it to that folder before you make another cdg, good idea to make your file folder identifiable so you'll know what it is ie SC2199 or whatever. I have taken them out of the recycle bin and placed them in a file also. I have been thinking about doing this and when it gets large, burn the folder to a DVD for future needs. Take care and have fun. Swany

You use the IMPORT TRACKS tab to put tracks on the hard drive. As suggested also make sure you set up a folder such as C:\ SONGLIST to import them to. You can import entire discs ot select only the tracks you want to store.

Bear in mind also that one track can take as much as 50mg space.
