error help please

this is the error i am getting: unable to read AUDIO SECTORS 0 to 25 on device 3:0:0 ILLEGAL COMMAND request (04h ooh o2h o5h 24h ooh) i can not get the demo to do anything and my cdr is on the list to play karaoke and audio

Which CDR do you have?
Which demo are you trying to run?

i have a sony CD-RW CRX175E 1.0j and i installed hoster 2.014 demo i checked the driver and it said my cdrw was supported

Jerriann,
This is one of the drives that says it will work for Karaoke, but it really will not. This is the reason that it gives back the error of "Illegal Command Request". Here is a post that has a list of drives in it that we know will cause this error. Click here to go to the post.

The only brand of drives that will work are the Plextor, except the 3 listed on the above post.
