How much do you charge?

I would like to get a feel as to what is the average charge to do a professional karaoke gig.

Me and my wife work together in Southwest, Florida and we are getting $150.00 for 4 hours and $35.00 per hour after that.

We have 700 discs imported into laptop. We work on Thursday and Saturday, and the place is standing room only from start to finish. We just about always work five hours.

It is nerve wracking due to the crowds, and I feel we are underpaid, but not sure. I am thinking of going up to $50.00 per hour, with 3 hour minimum.

What do you charge for a regular gig? What do you charge for a private job? How much do you get for New Years Eve? What area of the country do you work?
