Sweetdream,
Flipeoke is correct, try the ASPI drivers as stated above.

What CD-R drive do you have? If it is a Plextor 40x, then make sure you have at least Microstudio 2.314. If you have anything faster than the 40x drive then you need to make sure you have Microstudio 2.400.

You can check the verison of Microstudio by clicking on the Help Menu, About. It will show the Microstudio version.

If you don't have a Plextor drive, then please post the drive that you have, along with your version of Microstudio.

Sweetdream1968,
Your problem is that your ARTECWSM 52X CD Burner will not support the CD+G format.

There is no way to make this drive work with our software. To beable to get the software to work for CD+G you will need to upgrade your burner to a Plextor brand drive. MTU sells these tested and guranteed to work for CD+G.

Unhappy I'm afraid not

Vickey,

No! There are currently no DVD burners, Plextor, HP or otherwise, that I am aware of, that support the CDG specifications.

As of now the only way to use MicroStudio or any other CDG writing software, is to buy a truly CDG certified burner. Your best bet is to buy a Plextor burner, preferably, one of those sold by MTU because they test and guarantee all burners before shipping it to the buyer.

Good luck

Jon

Jadams is correct. The Plextor DVD burners currently do not support the CD+G format. This is the only drive that they make that doesn't yet. They are working on this, as I have been in contact with them, but it is still some time off before it will be ready.
