Smile Play Karaoke Songs

I'm just purchased Microsoft Studio 2400 and everything seems to work OK except for when I try to play CD+G songs using the "play" facility. Sometimes it works but mostly it just puts the title on the screen and it stays there. My processor is an Athlon 1600 and I have 256k Ram. I am running it on the 8-bit full screen mode. Any suggestions??

Operating System?

I seem to have cured it with information elsewhere in the forum. It is something to do with my soundbalster live sound card and it involved changing the directx setting. Thanxalot for your help

Wink Play Problem

I also had the same problem but, with the SB Audigy card.
The solution is the same as the SB Live.

Thanks
