Chartbuster Cd's Won't Copy For Back Up???

I have 2 ESSENTIAL +PLUS Chartbuster cd's that won't copy or even play in my burner. They are from a 6 Disk Pack series Chartbuster ESP452-02 and ESP452-06. The other ones from this set copied fine but these 2 just die when I install them. They will work in my DVD player and CD +G player but not in the burner at all. I tryed to copy by duplicate disc and track by track but neither cd will work at all. I would like to back these up. What may cause this and what can I do to resolve it.

Do they say anything about "Protected by MediaCloq" on the center of the disc?

It sounds as if they have started to use a new type of protection. Does anyone else have these same discs?

I haven't tried that particular Charbuster, but I have copied ESP469 01-06 with success. I'm not aware that Chartbuster is using protection software. Wish I had a better answer

Chartbuster ESP452-02 and ESP452-06...........

Just pulled those discs from my collection and they copied fine.

Don't know why your's aren't?

These chartbuster essencial disc copied fine for me

Ditto with Chartbuster ESP452-02. No problems here, I copied it fine. Don't have ESP452-06.

Questions:

1. Will the two discs play on your karaoke player?
2. Are there any visible scratches on the discs or smudge marks?
3. Did you clean the discs with a disc cleaner before trying to copy?
4. If you have any scratches, could cause not to copy. There is a product called CD FIX-IT KIT. Which will "Fill" even deep scratches and allow you to copy discs that won't copy, because of deep scratchs.

There is NO COPY PROTECTION on these two discs.

p.s. If you have problems playing these two Chartbuster discs on your karaoke hardware, Chartbusters is the only company with a LIFE TIME WARRANTY on their discs, just return for replacement.
