Unable to read graphics

After Installing 2400 update I get a differant playing screen which Is much smaller than the old one and the graphics are unreadable.They do show up, but In an unreadble manner.
Please help. This Is occuring only on my computer screen..

You can make the small window larger by clicking and dragging it to whatever size you wish.
To change to full screen mode as the default, click on VIEW, then DISPLAY MODE, then check 8BIT FULL SCREEN.

Upgrade your DirectX to version 9.0 from: http://forum.mtu.com/showthread.php?threadid=772

Then under the DXDIAG click on the Display tab, and then find out the manufacturer of your Video card, then go to their website and download the latest drivers, that will support at least DirectX 8.1.
