Windows xp not starting

I read the forum with the trouble with xp re-booting. I cant tell if my problem is the same. if I my computer is off for more than a day, Windows will not start. Then I get a blue screen telling me "driver more or less equal" and there was some kind of error. I have to unplug my computer and plug it back in so windows will start. Then I get a black screen telling me that something is wrong with the installing of a software program or hardware. All of this started with plextor usb burner and micro-studio 2.315. Before I start dowloading all kinds of drivers, I wanted to make sure the driver was the problem.

I already have a DVD/CD burner installed in my computer. I was wondering if there was an incompatibility problem with trying to have two burners and two different burning programs(mtu program and the one that came with my computer). The micro-studio program has been burning cd+gs fine. But, this constant problem of not having windows start-up is annoying and I think it is creating problems with other programs.
