Unhappy JVC players and Microstudio

Last night I as in my favorite Karaoke bar and the KJ told me that she just have gotten a brand new triple tray JVC player. I asked her to try some of the songs that I have made using KHP and some of the ones that I have copied using Microstudio. All these songs played perfectly on her old Pioneer VD10-G.

With the new JVC some of the songs played, some did not. In fact some of the song when retried later played, but not all. It seems to me that it is a cueing problem. The JVC player does not seem to recognize that there is a track, or it does recognizes it but it "freezes" and does not even start the process (the player display reads " -- -- ---" where the counter should be clicking the seconds for the song).

Is there a known problem with the JVC players reading Microstudio copied or KHP prepared karaoke tracks? I have never hve had any problems with my Pioneer (VD 10-G).

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Ed Cabrera

What version of KHPro?

In a very early version of KHPro, we discovered that some CDG players would not play the created CDG songs. This was due to an identified "anomolie" that we fixed in a later release.

Since you have been using KHPro for some time, you may have created the songs "that won't play" with the early version. There is no simple way to go back and fix these songs.

Try songs produced with 3.100 version and post back here if they create any problems on the JVC.
