Have You??

Have you installed the ASPI drivers, and installed direct X version 8.1??
These seem to fix most of the problems, give that a shot and let us know if that works...

Here's your link to ASPI drivers:

Thanks for replying so quickly!
I have installed everything correctly.. (as far as I know)..lol
I have had no problems duplicating CD-Gs ....(including Sound Choice Star Series)...
Making custom CD-Gs has been a breeze... : )
and most of those have had key- changes!
I have found Microstudio surprisingly easy to use!
My comp seems to freeze up 'AFTER' I have closed out of the Microstudios program.
How do I tell what ASPI driver I have?
Thanks.... Lyn (aka....Infinity)

in the ASPI thread it tells you how to check to see what you have installed in step 3, check the link out. But it still sounds like you need to install the ASPI drivers. I put the link on the first post for you.

If that's not the problem:
Give us more to work with, what operating system are you using, what burner, brand and model and what settings are you using, what brand computer, chip set and speed, and memory size. Does it always lockup after backing up discs, or what.

Jim
