Question KH Pro automatically passes blank lines

Hi;

I used to use blank lines in KH Pro to force long words to end (I'd have the program set to 5 lines per page, and have the top line blank so I could hit the space bar one extra time at the end of a page to force it to go to the next page and wait). I can't do that with 3.010. It just passes by blank lines so if I have a line ending with a long word that is sung quickly, and then a long pause before the next lyric, I have no way to force the program to finish sweeping the word.

Is there a way to change this, or are you using a different method to accomplish what I'm doing.

Thanks for any help.

Neil,
When you wish to shorten the length of sweep on a word, tap the CTRL keywhen you wish to end the sweep, then sweep the next word when you wish to. That should take care of the problem.

If you wish to start the next word on a new page for whatever reason, when setting up the lyrics, hold down on the SHIFT key and tap the ^ key.Do not leave a space, but continue setting up the lyrics as normal.

Hope this helps,
George

Great! Thanks George! Is there a link to a list of all these key commands? I remember there being a lot of them in the old version of the online manual, but this version has very little of that info in it (as far as I can see).

Neil,
Don't know of any such link. I think the CTRL is covered in the manual, but am not sure about the SHIFT ^ bit.

Exclamation KNPro 3.100 is available....

Neil,

Why haven't you updated from 3.010 to 3.100? The manual has been expanded, as has the software.

I'm actually waiting for a response from MTU as to why me link won't let me get the update. I thought that it was good for 8 downloads including updates. All it will give me is another download of 3.010. (Of course I didn't try it until Friday, so now I get to wait until tomorrow to hear from MTU). Bummer!

I really should spend more time in the manual! I've been using KH Pro this way for almost a year already. Amazing how much you pick up when you read the manual!
