Singers screen disappearing

Lately I have had issues getting the singers screen to come up at all. I use the extended desktop option and normally am able to have the words on the extended screen but for some reason now I am unable to get the box to pop up unless I play a karaoke track but when it stops, the box disappears. Also I have noticed that once the track stops the little screen in the hoster main windows disappears too. I have tried resetting the displays many times and neither show back up. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Hoster but am coming up short.

I run win 7 64bit and have all the current drivers for windows and am running a Nvidia card which has given me no real problems in the past. I am goin to try to install a previous version of hoster and will post my findings. Until then anyone have any ideas on the problems?
