Angry Windows 7 Upgrade

I have upgraded one of my laptops to Windows 7 Ultimate. Somewhere in the process, it has become forgetul---it pops an error balloon that says:

"Your serial number does not match your registration information. Please reinstall Hoster and try again."

When I try to reinstall Hoster, it gives the obligatory message about having already been installed on 2 computers. It won't let me uninstall because it thinks that the SN is incorrect.

Nothing like chasing your tail!!

Anyone got any ideas??????

DC

Re: Windows 7 Upgrade

I take it you didn't un install Hoster before you upgraded to Windows 7, therefore it still thinks you have it installed. I think you may have to put in a support ticket to get your registration reset.

Roy.
