khpro has caused an error in khpro.exe-RESOLVED as bad .wav file

I am a new user and am having trouble getting started. So far I have been able to enter lyrics and that is it. When I add a WAV file it shows up in the box, but doesn't play. I then click on "play my song" and I get the following error: khpro has caused an error in KHPRO.EXE...If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer. I restarted and tried this several times. What is my problem? Have I not installed correctly? I followed all of the directions. Can anyone help?
