Need Advice : MP3+G Software That Can Create Karaoke Songs

I recently spoke with a K.J. (briefly) about some of his material which I am unable to find after many queries on the Internet. He informed that the reason why I am not finding his material is because he has created most of the material he uses. He indicated that this is the “way most K.J. artists are operating now”. (He said that he uses computer software to remove vocal tracks, then types in the lyrics to the proper beat of the song, creating his Karaoke material.)
Does anyone out there know of any software that provides this ability? (A Website which provides more detailed information concerning this technology would be great!)

Thanks in advance.
Gwen

That's easy. http://www.MTU.com! They have all the software you need right here.
Vogone - Removes the vocals. This is one of the most effective softwares for this on the market.
KHPro - Is the program to add and syncronize the lyrics to the music.
I am not sure that I would say "most" KJs are operating, but those who want songs that are not available, for whatever reason, create their own or do without.

Hi Gwen,
Douglas hit it right on. I have used Vogone, and Microstudio, keyrite, kh pro for many years, they are invaluable creative tools for many uses, not just karaoke. I have even used kh pro to create lyrics for a singer to use.

I had a nice young lady contact me, who performed original music in coffee houses, church, and other venues. She told me, she had a medical condition and just could not remember her own lyrics. I sat down with her, and her guitar, and tapped out all her material. I went to where she played, and she smiled at me all through the evening. Told me how rewarding my work was to her. I enjoyed helping someone out with their musical endeavor, karaoke or not.

Incidently kh Pro, and Microstudio are great tools for making sing-a-longs. I volunteer once in a while at nursing homes, where i play guitar, and we do karaoke sing a longs as well. Seems folks love to see their names on the big screen TV's.
I am sure any of the great MTU products would work out great for your purpose. Good luck on your musical venues. George

Many Thanks

THX Beavis and Musicman51!!

I really appreciate your advice. I have attempted to use both versions of the Vogone Demo software to determine if it will be a benefit. I wish I had more "user friendly" instructions. Not clear why I have to establish a "loop", why final product has "beeps", etc.

Signed,
Bewildered

Final product "Beeps" because this is a Demo version to prevent someone using the Demo to do their work and not paying for the program.
The "Loop" is to use a portion of the song file as a sample to adjust your settings rather than using just the first portion or the whole song for adjusting. Once you have it all set for the amount of vocals you want to remove then you create the final with those settings and it does the whole song.
Keep in mind that this is not an easy beginner task to do, so you may have to make sevearl attempts to get the best balance between amount of vocal removed and how much of the music gets cut too. Working with only two tracks instead of the 16 - 32 tracks that a studio would have with the master copy is a much harder process.
None of the softwares currently available will remove echo or reverbed vocal, but Vogone is the best on the market today for taking out the most vocal.
